  • From GRETNA continue on the A75 west towards Stranraer until reaching the outskirts of Dumfries.
  • At roundabout take the 5th exit onto A76 (Glasgow road) signposted KILMARNOCK.
  • Continue on A76 for about 3 miles until reaching HOLYWOOD,  turn left immediately onto the B729 (signpost DUNSCORE/ MONIAVE)
  • After only 1 mile, just before a right hand bend, turn LEFT off the B729 road onto an unclassified road signpost NEWTONAIRDS/MORINTON.
  • Continue for about 3 miles and Newtonairds Lodge & Armandii Cottage are on the right set back behind black iron railings at the entrance signpost NEWTONAIRDS PRIVATE.
